" Mine came fully threaded
(just as well as I needed to do them up more than planned!!)
Supplied with nuts so just needed to add 3mm thick 50mm square washers
Sandwiched sagging joist between two 8x2's through bolted every 500mm with these, no problems.

Coachbolt or Threaded C/bolt ?
29 Jul 2013

" There are two sections in the catalog - one for 'BZP Coach Bolts' and one for 'BZP Threaded Coach Bolts'.
These coachbolts were bought from the 'threaded' section, but the small print in the description states 'partially threaded'. Fortunately I was able to check at the counter that they were in fact fully threaded, but usually I get stuff delivered and it seems to be pot luck whether you get fully or partially threaded from this part of the catalog.
This is an absolute pain because obviously for outdoor work with a bzp bolt you'd rather use partially threaded bolts. Often though you can't get the exact size you need and have to use a fully threaded bolt that can be cut to length.
The bolts themselves are good - consistent quality and the zinc coating lasts very well.
Just a shame you can't rely on the description to get what you need... "
