Good Buy at £73.59
10 Dec 2009

"I paid £73.59 and whilst pricey, it does the job I intended it for very well (Warm a 20 sq.mtr area quickly and maintain it). At its current price of £91.99 I would probably go for three of the honeywell 1.8kw heaters which would provide versatility on site heating requirements (site usually being domestic refurb and so in rooms all over house)
Good but expensive and in my opinon, well over priced at £91.99"

Good heater

"This heats my poorly insulated 24m2 workshop really well, no fumes, no condensation, very quiet. Fan keeps going even when thermostat turns off heat which keeps the warm air moving around. Fan only option should be good in the summer. NOTE: This is NOT 3 phase as indicated in the description, normal 13 amp moulded plug fitted."

Not brilliant

"I bought this fan just before Xmas to warm up my 24m3 wooden cabin/workshop so I could work comfortably. Outside temp was -1C. After 1/2 hour on full heat I could still see my breath as I worked.
I think this is a decent heater, but don't expect miracles with zero starting temperatures. It would be ok if outside temp was maybe 5C. Air flow is good, much more than a domestic fan heater and noise is reasonable."

Very disappointing performance

"I Have a double garage and bought this to put a bit of warmth in it. When I first put it on I had to double check the instructions as the heat output was so poor. You can hold your hand right up to the heater and it is just warm. If your hand is more than a foot away it feels cold as the cooling effect of the fan is more than its heat output. I have had to buy a propane heater to do the job as this is clearly not up to it. I would definately not recommend this unless you are trying to heat a broom cupboard."

"more suitable as a hair dryer than a workshop heater, seriously underpowered"
