"Got the pack of 3 as they looked good value for money and you can never have too may tape measures. Look good quality with markings in old and new money, very happy with item and would not see any point in spending out for anything more expensive as they do the job."
"bought these the other week on the recommendation of a member of the screfix staff when needeing to replace my Fat Max which walked off a site on it's own, good solid build quality, both sides of the tape are marked so it is more useful than the fat max and vastly cheaper and you get 8M/5M/3M, would recommend in a flash"
"Its a perfect tape measure for the job. Great for kitchen and bathroom fitting. Strong spring action, easy to use even with one hand. Always have a spare set of them.... Would only recommend this product."
"Bought this set as the price was good, set consists of an 8 meter, a 5 meter and a 3 meter tapes, all have magnets set into the end which is an added bonus if like me you work with MF ceilings and metal stud work. The tapes are marked on both sides of the tape so no more craning around to see the measurements in confined areas. Good overall tapes with no obvious limitations."
"Three well chosen different sized tape measures to cover a multitude of jobs. Very good quality, easy to read wide tapes well protected in rubber cases that are slightly smaller than other tape measures but they work well. Recommended."
"Irwin do three ranges: Standard, Professional and XP. Additionally, each has two versions: metric/imperial and metric only. That's a total of 18 varieties, bearing in mind there's three lengths.
Judging by the packaging, I suspect that Screwfix, not Irwin, bundle the tapes and they add one of each length without being too fussy about the other details.
In my pack I had a 3m XP (metric only but double sided), a 5m/16ft Standard (metric & imperial but single sided) and an 8m/26ft XP (metric & imperial, double sided).
A least one other reviewer mentions a measure with a magnetic tip, which suggests they had a Professional tape in their bag.
Provided they stand the test of time, these are good value, even if you get three from the Standard range, as illustrated. Getting anything from the higher quality ranges should be considered a bonus."
"This is a great value set of decent quality measures at a really cheap price. The small one feels a bit plasticy but it works well enough but the two longer ones have good casings with soft grip on them. All of them have strong return springs and clear markings. They may not be as durable as say a fat max but they are also miles cheaper. The only slight niggle for me was the middle size measure is metric only while the other 2 are imperial and metric."
