" A very good latch for the money, check hole required before drilling to avoid silly mistakes.
25mm hole works fine.

Just the wrong size

" A normal mortice latch will fit a 22mm hole, this is designed to require chiselling all the way down the barrel (or a drill hole that will come too close to the door sides). One of those designs that makes you wonder what goes through the tiny mind of the designer.
I obviously didn't chisel far enough and this wedged solid and locked up.
Tried to pull it back out and it disintegrated inside the door.
Solid wood door ruined! "
