"This diverter is made of good quality plastic and should do a great job. Unfortunately I thought all square down pipe is the same size but mine is smaller than this fits!! Screwfix were great and gave a refund with no problem at all despite it being down to my stupidity."
"Hardest part was finding this on the website - why doesn't it display with the rest of the white square guttering? Easy to fit ( fitted two in a morning, had to unscrew down pipe brackets to manoever pipe apart). Half the price of any other white diverter I've found and matches perfectly with square guttering. Instructions recommend fitting bracket to support down pipe below diverter - found I didn't need to but others might depending on position of existing brackets."
"Easy to fit and a sturdy, great looking product. Fits well with the square down pipe and doesn't look out of place. Lot better than the budget one I had previously from another store. Downside is it can get restricted by those little helicopter seed things so needs removing occasionally to clean out. Just discovered this can be done by removing the diverting tube so not so much of an issue now. Filled 500 litres of water butt in about a day and a half rain."
"There seems to be 2 ways to fit this, either remove a larger amount of downpipe as I did and then clamp the unit in place which has the advantage of allowing you to adjust the level so the overflow works correctly, but is a bit more of a faff. Alternatively if you are able to get away with cutting out the 30mm section as the instructions state that will hold the unit in place. Unfortunately I couldn't get enough slack in the downpipe to fit the unit like this, hence why I opened it a little.
Seems well made and it's working, so recommended."
