A great saw for general use.

" I bought this saw whilst it was on offer at a price that rendered it an absolute bargain. Although I do not intend using it for quality work, I found it ideal for odd-jobs around the garden and house. At the price I paid for the saw I do not have to perform many jobs for it to have paid for itself and can go with a clear conscience to saw-heaven! "

" Ive used a few saws in the past some very expensive. 'You get what you pay for' does not seem the case here. At £6 you get a very good quality saw which is nice to use and accurate "

Good value for money

" This saw has aggressive bite in soft and hard wood.
It cuts through 8" joists in a few seconds.
I cannot comment on reliability because I only had it for a few days, but I hope it will last longer than my previous buy of a reputable brand for £12.99 which went bland after a couple of dozen cuts through dry hard wood joists.

" as a carpenter im always on the look out for a new tool to make the job easier!
brought this saw because the irwin jack saw seems to over priced,
the saw is fine for a diyer but no where near as good as the jack saw!
the teeth seem far to big for any fine or finish work even on the 11tpi saw!
the 7tpi saw if ok for first fixing and cutting wett timber but after a few cuts i found the handle hard to grip

Cheap saw
5 Aug 2012
By Pandaspaul

" You get what you pay for. Needed to cut through Oak worktops, and bought a couple of these to do the job. Would have been better to buy a better quality saw instead of two cheap ones.
Not far into job, these saws started to struggle, whereas an old saw that I was not going to use did a better job.
You get what you pay for..... so pay a bit more for a better saw. "
