"I bought this for prepping the woodwork in the hall before painting. It lasts well in both wet and dry situations. I made some holes and used it on my orbital sander also so it's quite versatile. I will always use this brand because it is reliable and good value plus it comes in packs of ten - so you can usually find a sheet when you need one. For the areas I needed a finer finish I finally sanded with a more expensive paper as the Titan creates an uneven scratch pattern which would show under clear varnish or wood oil on my oak doors. For the bulk of the preparation it is perfectly adequate. Recommended."

Review 5 for Titan Wet & Dry Sanding Paper 230 x 280mm 240 Grit Pack of 10
"The scratch pattern that results from using this silicon carbide paper is nowhere near uniform. The particle sizes are random which results in horrible scratch lines, when used wet or dry. .If you need to use this for automotive or need a high gloss finish, then pay more and get a quality paper. The paper is too rigid, and creases too easily and the abrasive delaminates in clumps. I cannot understand all the positive reviews here. This stuff is not for professional use."
