Customer Reviews for Irwin Jack Xpert Fine PTFE Saw 20"
"I have saws large and small, but this is the one that gets the most use (that's why I'm now on my third...). You wouldn't want to use it for cutting fence posts etc, as it's too fine, but for anything more precise, it's ideal. You'll also wonder how you ever did without a PTFE coating... Recommended."
"It has a name you can trust, looks that can kill and a build quality to last! One of the best saw's I have had the pleasure of using since my apprentice days, the handle is comfortable, the blade just glides through the timber no matter what your cutting, the cut is clean although I wouldn't recommend using on thin cheap laminates without first scribing the cut. The 45' and 90' angles on handle are very accurate."
"These are now the only saw I use (they do a coarse cut one too). I moan whenever I have to use someone else's cheap, five for twenty quid saw. These saws produce a very nice cut in lots of different materials including laminate worktops and MFC panels as well as hardwood and rough timber. I've even used them to cut thermalite blocks and plasterboards and they still produce a fine cut in wood afterwards! The best thing about them though is they last for ages. They easily outlast a saw half the price by four or five to one."
"I needed a general purpose saw for regular use. This saw is absolutely superb! Cuts like a knife through butter and is very steady. Only one minor flaw would be that it is only 4/5 when cutting with the grain"
