"This is a great extension lead as it comes on a reel. No problem with 4m of cable to get knotted up in your tool bag. Easy to use with 2 extension plug sockets...overheating protection built in..whats not to like?...it's blue too!"
"Have used two of these for several years and just bought another couple as I needed four for last job. Winds and unwinds well with no kinking or jamming. Safety cut-out is a useful (and effective!) feature. Excellent value for money."
"As an electrician, a word of warning!. It's always best practice every time, no matter intention of connected load usage, to completely unwind the cable reel as I have seen the effects of damage to the reel if heavily loaded which is directly associated with the inductive effect and heating up effect. It states clearly on the item about the factors associated with loadings and connected usage."
"Small and compact this is ideal for jobs in domestic premises or for DIY in the home. It saves loads of cable everywhere. Only 4 stars for features as no inbuilt rcd but at this price you can always use a plug in one."
"Nice length of cable for general use with plugs nearby but not quite close enough! Shorter cables can be a lot more useful. Less cable makes it lighter & reduced length reduces trip hazards. Some safety features. Although no RCD (can be bought as a separate pass though RCD plug) for even better protection if needed. The only irritating downside is the winding mechanism - short & stubby that occasionally catches your fingers slowing down your rewind. If you're not in a rush don't worry about!"
"It's a nice neat 7" diameter 2 gang,10Amp reel with thermal cut-out, ideal for power tools up to 2.4KW, radio's, battery chargers etc great value for money, no RCD but for the price you wouldn't expect it."
"I haven't had this product long so I can't vouch for it's reliability yet. For a short extension lead it is very good value for the money compared with other products on the market. Obviously it is no good if you want more than 4mtrs but then it's horses for courses isn't it......."
