"this scraper is ideal for what I needed.. it is so comfortable to hold and use.. not like some others with thin handles and poor design... if you need this type of product you cant go wrong with this.. and it is excellent value for money to... so a ' win win ' situation all round :)"
"I bought this to clean algae off the glass of my aquariums. It does a fantastic job and being wide there is less risk of accidently scratching the glass with an edge of the blade. The specification says the blade is carbon steel, but it hasn't tarnished after use, although I have removed it from the handle. It would get full marks, but you can only use it one way round. Use it upside down and the blade pings off. I liked it so much, I went back and bought another one for a friend to try on his fish tanks."
"I can imagine that for very light duties it may be OK - like simply scraping off new paint from a window. But I have used other glass scrapers which have lasted well despite considerable abuse. With this one the mechanism for holding the blade failed within the first day. But it's cheap and the handle is good. Would have been so much better if they had just designed a fixed blade system - not one that retracts."
"Might be useful for other scraping jobs but this tool put a large scratch in a window during first few minutes of use so I would not reccommend for use on glass. Note also that unlike many other similar scrapers it does not use a standard blade."
