No Nonsense sums it up nicely

"Just a very handy, cheap piece of kit and comfortable to use. Way better than my old scraper, which cost about three times as much."

Scraper with comfortable hold

"Very good price, the scraper has a comfortable handle, easy to use and change blades with slide in or out button, much better than conventional window scrapers. Excellent."

Does the job.

"For removing sealant from around baths and windows it'll take some beating, especially at £1.39 and less than a quid for 5 spare blades.
Well done Screwfix.

great value window scraper
20 Jul 2013
By Rothgar

"I bought this to clean algae off the glass of my aquariums. It does a fantastic job and being wide there is less risk of accidently scratching the glass with an edge of the blade. The specification says the blade is carbon steel, but it hasn't tarnished after use, although I have removed it from the handle. It would get full marks, but you can only use it one way round. Use it upside down and the blade pings off. I liked it so much, I went back and bought another one for a friend to try on his fish tanks."

Cheap but disappointing
22 Apr 2014
By Geeman79

"Yes it is cheap and i certainly wondered how something so simple could go so wrong, but let me tell you...
1. Retractable blade renders this useless-constantly retracts when suffucient pressure applied to scrape glass
2. Handle overhangs blade at edges so almost impossible to scrape into edges of panes
3. Scraper can only be used one way up as blade pops out if used other way around.
4. Handle assembly means that blade becomes very quickly fouled with scrapings and has to be dismantled.
Not to be recommended at all - stick to shielded razor blades or a simple utility blade holder to do the job."
