"When you're 40 foot up a ladder, the less holes you have to drill into the wall the better.
I bought two bags of 65964 the standard two hole clips at the same time as I didn't know which ones I would end up using.
After trying one of these and saw it gripped well, I only used these ones. They hold the pipe well, even on high vertical sections and I'll be returning the standard ones back to Screwfix.
These have just one hole to attach them to the wall and when used with the rot proof screws part number 54343 (TurboGold XT Green Ruspert Finish 4x50mm) they stick to the wall very well.
A big tip is that if you are using screws like the ones suggested above, you'll want to use a washer (preferably A2 grade) so that the countersunk head doesn't chew into the plastic too much.
I also dropped one from the very top and it bounced when it hit the ground (tarmac) with only a small bit from the joining clip breaking off which didn't affect it's operation (and used it higher up where no-one would know lol).
Rated 4 for features, as the top has a flat finish to them, however underneath it has a recess. So if you choose the cosmetic top side to show from underneath, over time the bottom recess (which would then be on top) will fill up with dirt.
Ultimately saved me time from drilling extra holes while up a ladder and used all 20 of them from two bags. Would definitely use again."
