"This is a superior form of white silicon sealant. It is easy to use, flowing well and smoothing to a high gloss finish. Unlike some such products, it does not go off once it is opened, so is better value for an occasional user."

Review 2 for Evo-Stik White for Life Sealant 295ml
"as a tiler and have fit many of bathbroom and kitchen i have seal a few things in my time i recently bought this for my own property as i though this would last alot longer. seal bath sink etc no problem sealant seemed very transparent for a white sealant. but however carryied on thinking it would dry fine which it wasnt to bad had seemed to dry a bit better looking. the following day i showered as u do and wiped around the bath and areas i had got wet. when drying the areas around the shower the sealant removed in lumps leaving a frayed sealant looking effect. i used a very soft cloth and cant understand how this has happened. if any 1 has an idea of the problem or mabye a better sealant that stay white for longer than a year. please feel free to write a review above.."

Review 4 for Evo-Stik White for Life Sealant 295ml
"We used this on the advice of my Father-in-law after he had re-siliconed his bath with it.
The only reason we bought it is that it would be 'white for life' but it just isn't.
As another reviewer said it is a very transparent silicone for a white product... sadly this means that on the corner of our shower enclosure, between 2 tiled walls the grey tile adhesive is visible through the silicon.
It was more difficult to smooth when applying than normal silicon.
But my main concern with this product is that, 6 months after using it it started showing signs of mould. It claims to be 'white for life' and also comes with a guarantee, so I contacted the manufacturers. I was informed that to keep the product 'white-for-life' You should use bleach on it once a week. No such information is stated on the packaging, and besides any silicon would stay white if you bleach it once a week. Evo-stick recommended a specific (pricey) bleach cleaner, so we purchased that and have since used it every week (we are on a septic tank and we don't use bleach anywhere else in the house)
It is now a year after installing the shower tray and using the silicon. The sealant has several new black mould patches on it, despite using bleach on it. And around the bath at my Father-in-Law's has gone completely black (I am assuming he doesn't use bleach every week either)
Don't buy this it is a waste of money, time and effort. And one of the '5-star' reviews is actually a bad review, read it too."
