"I sand a lot of small wooden components on a Disc & Belt Sander and was forever taking the skin off my fingertips (ouch!). I have tried other gloves in the past but found that the glove fingertips were worn through with holes in less than a day. I have been using these Kevlar gloves for a couple of weeks now and there's not a sign of any wear (even though they've contacted the sanding belt several times). I will be ordering another couple of pairs to keep "handy" for future use."
"It really does what it says on the packet! Wear it on its own or under work gloves and save your fingers. A slip of the blade will cut through your normal gloves but the kevlar really stops even the sharpest blades. You would be silly not to wear one Fine grip when worn on its own AND washable too."
"My hands are probably slightly larger than average, but as no size variation is offerred, I assumed that these gloves would be flexible. As it turned out, they were too small. This is a shame, as it also turns out that the gloves do come in various sizes, but Screwfix neither stock the variety nor mention the (medium) size of the one glove they do offer. Apart from that, good protective gloves at a good price."
"Purchased these to avoid small cuts from handling glass, since going onto medication which reduces blood-clotting. They do this brilliantly, but are a little slippy, so I wear them under gloves that grip."
"Not very good on their own. Too slippy, no protection against sharp points like wood splinters. Should be worn under work gloves so you may as well buy a glove that does both. A bit on the small size too. No stars for reliability as I have not had them long."
