"Very well designed and good value. Fitting the plastic pipes can be tricky but the fitting instructions give good guidance."

Only for short term isolation
14 Nov 2012

"This is an excellent product for remote isolation of the water supply for emergencies and short maintenance periods. However, the manufacturers say its remote feature should not be used for extended periods of isolation - the lockdown switch on the top of the valve should be used instead. This means that if you are going to be away from home for a week or two in the winter you still need to get to the valve even if it is in a difficult position. This negates the advantage of the remote feature, so I used a Pegler ball valve (product code 18343) instead - much cheaper."
