"I used this to fix and seal insulation boards to joists. I battened the joists, squirted the top of the battens with the foam and then pushed the installation board down between the joists to rest on top of the battens. It worked extremely well and there are no drafts coming through the floor at all. The only criticism I would make is the price, it is expensive and didn’t appear to go very far in the hands of a novice like me. The attached picture shows the seal that the foam made below the floor."

Review 2 for Dow Insta Stik Expanding Foam Grab Adhesive Hand Held
"I've used Insta Stik to very successfully fit skirting boards, where old skirting and wooded battons in the wall had been removed and there were big gaps and holes in the wall.
It sticks really well, fills gaps and the skirting is fixed rocks solid now, without the need for screws or nails and having to conseal those afterwards.
Note: it doesn't expand as much as expanding PU foam, but it does expand a bit, so wedge the skirting tight to the wall with something heavy or with blocks of wood temporarily screwed to the floor while the foam sets."

Review 5 for Dow Insta Stik Expanding Foam Grab Adhesive Hand Held
"I have been replacing the skirting in several rooms in the house using MDF skirting and grip adhesive. In one room there was really large gaps between the plaster wall and the brick, which was a big ask for the usual grip adhesive and meant faffing about with packing and screwing etc. I decided to try this product after searching the Screwfix website and the positive reviews meant it was an option. Results were very good, perfect adhesion/gap fill and the skirting was welded to the wall, although you will have to brace the skirting for a while, as the foam will try and push it off. Major problem and the reason for the average rating, is that after running just one 3M bead down my first length of skirting, the can would not turn off and over the next couple of hours continued to produce magnificent gourd like sculptures which were unstoppable, until the can emptied. Now if the can had cost 2 quid I would have taken the hit and got another but at 10 quid plus I returned the can to Screwfix with a 1M sculpture attached and got a replacement. Yet to try the second but hopefully I can get more than one length on with it. Just wished I'd taken a picture of it."
