"I've just had to replace the same clamps I bought 18 months ago. Mine do get ALOT of use as a kitchen fitter! I was surprised as the quality seems to have improved and they now feel a bit more sturdy. Still a bit stiff to use at first but this normally passes with constant use. You can't go wrong at this price."
"This is only the 2nd pair of these I have bought in 10 years. The only reason I needed to buy again was because the plastic on the jaws had deteriorated to the point they were falling off. Apart from that, a very useful tool, specially for kitchen fitting where I have used them many times to clamp cupboards together prior to fastening."
"As the title says, everyone else seems to have bad things to say about these clamps but i've used mine a few times and as of yet no complaints! sods law when i next use it, it will fall to pieces! fingers crossed"
"Needed another clamp for a job i was doing, the usual clamps i use where next day order only so bought this pile of junk.
Need to clamp across 5" frame, clamp simply wouldn't clamp, seemed to work better on thinner materials. Clamp fell off under its own weight when trying to clamp 5" vertical post. Going back for a refund."
"I bought two of these. One of them doesn't clamp properly, the mechanism just keeps slipping. The plastic clamp heads broke off the other one. These definitely aren't as good quality as the old ones I bought off here!
"After a very little use the clamping pad on the adjustable rod collapsed, splitting open and leaving the ball exposed. This happened on both of the clamps I had purchased. I haven't been able to locate spares."
"This version of Quick clamp is a pain to use and is NOT for single handed use. It does not have the release catch by the trigger but instead you have to turn the plunger to release. I HATE them & unlucky enough to have bought 10 of them!"
