"Easy, simple, and extends the life of your foam gun. Adapter to screw direct on to gun ensures maximum efficiency and minimum waste. Only slight gripe is when using it as traditional spray, fitting the small red spray cap can be a wee bit messy until it is pushed 'home'."
"As this was the first time I'd used an applicator and gun grade foam, I wasn't prepared to risk blocking my 'new toy' without having the cleaner at hand.
I found this product really good value. You only need to use a little [maybe a two second squirt] to clear the gun and the tip, so this will last me ages.
I was using the 'No Nonsense' expanding foam and would imagine it works effectively on any and all other brands too.
However, this product seems to be one that has to be ordered in for collection; rather than being held in stock. Having bought the gun and foam, I then had to wait about a week for this product to become available in ANY store. So it may be prudent to stock up on this item when it's available."
"A very good product - does all that other reviewers have said. In fact buying the gun was one of the best investments I've made as a DIY'er.
However, make sure you can get this product before planning on next using the foam gun on a job. Unfortunately Screwfix do not have a system to be able to say when they expect to receive any product that is out of stock!!"
"When using the no-nonsense expanding foam, I have often managed in my cack-handedness to get foam all over my hands and the floor. I blame the gun! However, a quick squirt of foam gun cleaner and the snotty foam dissolves and wipes off. It cleans the gun and it lasts ages, depending on how much you have to spray on your hands. Once again, the no-nonsense brand lives up to it's name."
"Works brilliantly on uncured foam, and to clean foam gun. Only minor beef: the plastic can nozzle may be left behind in the gun, causes confusion next day when you come to re-use the gun, difficult to remove through the set foam residues."
"I bought this with my gun, and I've used it for 3-4 changes now. No sign of it running out.
Essential when a cylinder of foam runs out or when you are switching products.
For a proper clean, you need to pressurise for 15 minutes, flush, and leave in the gun. Next time you attach a cylinder it just pushes out. Needs to be used on uncured material though, because nothing shifts the stuff when it has set.
Don't think whether you need it - you do, otherwise you will lose guns!"
"This aerosol can comes with an atomiser so that you can spray the solvent (which is extremely volatile) onto the outside of your gun, gloves etc, and it screws directly onto a foam gun to clean it out after use. It dissolves partially set foam very rapidly. I didn't try it on set foam."
"For years I had used the hand type spray foam cans, and wasted a lot of foam. Finally it came time to try a big boys toy - so I bought a gun and some gun grade foam. Common sense told me that the cleaner would be needed, so I bought that too. The gun is much easier to use than the plastic tube on a hand can, and cleaning is so quick and easy - the spray nozzle (cleverly tied-on, so it doesn't get lost) lets you clean the outside of the gun or anywhere else that has been accidentally squirted. The gun is great, but the cleaner makes the big difference ."
