"Really useful clever stuff. I use it for drilling holes in walls over carpets, so for me it lasts forever. Much better than insulation tape and plastic bags. If it looks like flaky paint, make it less tacky by sticking it to the carpet first!"
"excellent idea that works really well, you have to be carefull not to drag the polythene across the serated cutting edge as you roll it out as it will cut the polythene in to strips which wastes it but other then that its great."
"Very useful under dust sheets which let paint through on to your carpet anyway. Careful application of the tape ensures a sharp paint border at the wall to skirting border line. Some parts of the roll were not usable as masking tape came off the edge. Overall a worthwhile purchase when you consider the cost of a carpet,"
"Ideal for just doing little bits and bobs when putting a blind up stuck this across the windows, put sheet out over window sill and worktop etc. drilled away and just folded up when I had finished.
Cutter is a bit awkward but does work
Only downside is it could be a bit wider on both film and tape, only thin piece of masking tape so can come away quite easy and would have been nice if sheet was 650 wide then would be ideal for work tops, just stick on tiles/splash back. Pull out complete worktop covered and dirt can’t get in silicone etc.
Overall nice little idea and does save time masking and sheeting. As just throw away with dirt wrapped up inside"
"I have used this tape several times when spraying the exterior of buildings, and find that the tape tends to come away from the masked area in places leaving surfaces which are unprotected. I now use the tape and then go over it with ordinary masking tape to make sure it is well stuck on,It could be a great product if it was improved ..possibly a low-tack and hi-tack version?"
"Been thinking of trying this item for a while and finally took the plunge and gave it a go. It works OK but is far too fiddly. The strip of masking tape is a little too thin to use quickly and easily. It needs to be a little wider. Also, the despenser tends to tear the plastic rather than cut it. I will probably go back to using plain masking tape which I can apply much faster and easier. Lastly when removing after painting the masking tape tends to come away from the plastic sheeting leaving the tape in place. There may be a knack to using this product which I don't have yet but on a first use I wouldn't recommend this product."
