"I bought two of these to replace old, failed, TRVs and was impressed with the simplicity of the instructions. The valves themselves were easy to fit once the old ones were out of the way and they came with caps that allow the valves to be manually set to a specific level. The only thing they don't have is pins to set upper/lower limits, but otherwise they perform flawlessly, shutting down the radiator once the room's warm enough, and opening it up when it's cold. Adjustment to a particular temperature is easy and the setting can be made to a fine degree. At the price, very good value."
"Qualtiy TRV. Easy to use and v reliable. I installed several of the Screwfix TRVs a few years ago when replacing some radiators and have been very pleased with them. Easy to use/turn etc. I have now purchased more to replace some old Drayton TRVs that were a lot more expensive and have failed."
"Bought a few of these, 2 of which I've fitted to rads which I had fully drained and removed and they look really good.
There is 1 small drawback in that I had to use the tails supplied as the valves connect using a compression fitting so the original tails wont work. These ones don't use an allen key to fit so it can be a bit tight getting the tails in and the compression nut tight, there was still some movement in the tail when I fitted as close as I could but it doesn't seem to leak.
I'll probably return the rest and buy some that work with normal screw on tails as I want to minimise the effort of changing the others over but that's just for convenience rather than a problem with the valve itself.
I guess in future it could be difficult to change the olive if it became damaged but really how often do take a radiator off the wall?
Overall an excellent buy! Average ratings as I've only just put them on so can't really review."
