"Bought this after accidently stripping the teeth off a wood only blade, they look the same. This was like a knife through warm butter on my 15ml copper pipes in the bathroom that I have replaced with Plastic push fit. So good I was looking for other pipes to cut just for the fun of it, I have resisted and only done what I needed to repair. Looking forward to replacing the copper in the kitchen next, so much easier when you have the right tools."
"Looking at the one star reviews it's no wonder... Nothing,, that I know cuts screws. You need to grind them gently (to try and keep the heat down) with a disc - nails,, are also hardened - if they weren't then they'd bend... use the right tool for the right job 'n No problems"
"I purchased this thinking that the extra cost (compared with others) would mean that it would last longer. Wrong!! It started off great but only lasted about 6 cuts through some floorboards and skirting: when I looked at it, half the teeth were missing: and there weren't any big nails or other nasties to blame it on. I don't see any advantage in buying this compared with others a third of the price."
"I bought this £20 blade expecting good performance based on the brand and the price. The job was to cut some screws holding a piece of wood where the screw heads were wrecked. The screws were 3mm diameter zinc plated, nothing special. To cut a long story short I cut 2 screws before the teeth were worn away. Yes, that's £10 per screw. Save yourself some money and buy cheaper blades as they'll probably be as good if not better. This one is not worth anything near the price paid."
"I bought this blade to cut light metal as it claims to be suitable for and it lasted only 3-4 very small cuts (wire nails)before its teeth were useless. I plan to return this to Screwfix for a refund as it is not fit for purpose."
