"Bought this to replace an earlier one damaged during a recent storm, and survived various earlier storms. Very easy to fit and will last if fitted securely. The aerial fitted to a 6ft pole to the earlier one had failed in storms a couple of times but this kit always survived OK. For the money this is excellent and worth buying. Only gave 4 stars for reliability as it had eventually failed (possible cable stretched but nuts and bolts a bit too rusty to strip and refit)."
"Very substantial and excellent value for money. An absoulte doddle to install (hardest bit was getting the wire the right length which wasn't exactly difficult). I fixed a 3 metre mast to my chimney and used TWO of these kits (one at the top and one at the bottom of the chimney stack)."
"this is a decent straightforward piece of kit with good anchorage around the chimney. Installer must remember to loop & fit one end of the rope to the assembly before climbing to the roof to enable all the parts to be handled easier & safely."
"Used it to fix a satellite dish on my chimney. It's a mite on the flimsy side but is fine for what I use it for. If I was fixing a decent sized aerial on a long pole I'd want to use two brackets, but it would still be cheaper to do that than use one more substantial bracket from elsewhere."

Review 12 for Labgear TV Aerial Chimney Fixing Kit
"I'd like to warn other users that this product may not fit their chimney. In my case the cap of my chimney is larger than the chimney stack, i.e. there is an overhang of approximately 50mm. When I tried to fit the mast to the bracket, the V bolts around the mask would not align with the holes in the bracket (because my chimney's overhang prevented the mask being vertical). Overall the kits appears to be good value."
