Look good but poor quality

" These switches look good, but are much more expensive, but poorer quality!.
The screwless range are a nightmare to fit sucessfully. They have cheap/ thin backplate to make them flush and screwless, but any slight inperfections in the wall or fitting (such as a screw being at an angle or protruding by 1mm) and the plate does not clip in. If it does, it often pops off again. When I tried the plug sockets, the plate dropped off anytime someone plugged something in. Also the brown finish scratches easily, so I would not recomment plug sockets, where you may miss the holes and scatch the finish.
Come on Screwfix, buy a range of screwed switches that look as good as these coloured back plates - its the screwless thin plastic design clips that are to blame. We can all live with seeing 2 small screws, especially if it means the switch stays on the wall!! "
