"I bought this to store a 30 metre long hose. It's easy to fit, a lot cheaper than others that are on the market & has handy storage recesses. Some people think it's not particularly strong but it is more than up to the job if you drain the water out of the hose as you coil it round, it's surprising how much it weighs."
"....Just come back from Screwfix in Fareham after getting this for the price of a cup of coffee and this was so easy to fit, even a child could do it, also it has grooves to store the hose guns and connectors if need be, furthermore, this has stopped my mother moaning at me for leaving the garden hose on the floor to trip over, Happy Days!!! :)"
"Perfect solution to a problem! The hose reel that my Mother was using was driving her mad trying to reel it up. So a quick serach on the net, and I found this one at the top of the page. Does the job. One very pleased Mom!"
"I bought this for storing a 20m hose, once screwed to the wall the plastic feels more sturdy and has no problem holding 20m of hose. I also like the features on the front for holding some attachments, ideal place to keep hose extension adaptors etc."
"This is a bit flimsy but does its job perfectly well. I have noticed that people have put reviews on saying that it is poor quality. what do you expect for the price? but it is sufficiently made to do its job very well......if put up properly!!"
"For its price its fine and what you would expect. It does the job but I fear that a heavy water layden hose would distort the plastic. I would have prefered to pay a bit more and get a better quality one."
"Purchased recently and fitted to wall. Tried it with a 30m hose and whilst taking the hose in fairly wide loops it felt to flimsy to stand up to prolonged wear and tear. Having looked at the structure of the wall fitting side the support ridges are just not long enough and taper to quickly allowing the hose bracket to flex. Not good with plastic fittings. Time/use will tell but not hopeful."
