"I bought a batch of 10 of these as they look nice and neat for some bedroom shelving. They come with screws and rawl plugs for fixing to the walls. They are adjustable for different thicknesses of shelf using a long threaded set screw and have plastic inserts that clamp against the wood to protect it - all good so far. However, I found the following problems. The plastic inserts are loose so they fall out easily while putting them up. The screws supplied are too big for the holes in the brackets and I had to switch them for smaller screws that would fit. The adjustment screw runs very close to the main body of the bracket and in some case interferes with the bracket and jams - one of them arrived locked solid and I couldn't use it. Next time I'll look for alternatives."

Review 5 for Adjustable Lightweight Bracket Silver x 100mm
"Look nice but very cheaply made. If you clamp the bracket up tightly the screw pulls through the soft metal, rendering the bracket useless. When fully closed the bracket looks like an open birds mouth so it doesn't hold the shelf tight at all. Paint scratches and flakes far to easily. Forget using them for glass shelves as the threaded screw supplied is too long and sticks out past the plastic inserts. This means you either have to cut the screws down or so as I did and return them."

Review 6 for Adjustable Lightweight Bracket Silver x 100mm
"If want to use these on a plasterboard wall, don't! You cannot use the screws and rawplugs provided of course. That much I expected. Using the correct fixings, the brackets eat in to the wall board if the screws are the slightest bit tight. Then they dont slide.
No instructions with them at all and although I am an experienced DIYer, I could not figure out what all the bits were for. Very fiddly!"
