"Bought for testing shower fan in bathroom, produces lots of smoke and proved to our plumber that the fan was undersized for the size of the room! Left a smoke smell in bathroom (no surprise there then.........) but cleared after a couple of hours."
"I used these in a flat to check why and where cooking smells were going up to flat above when we had a powerful cooker extractor working.Certainly produce a lot of smoke- factory told me it's ordourless and non staining , which it turned out to be. My only complaint was that they were hard to light with a paper taper and needed a cigarette lighter to ignite them. Turned out the cooking smells were going up the void the soil stack was in - some small gaps in tiling and cabinets created a route for the odours to travel up !"
"there smoke pellets you set fire to them they make smoke
ideal for check chimney draw
i use a old tin lid to place them on to save the burning it leave not a lot but save messing up carpets ect i also rinse the burning down the sink rather than throwing in bin sometimes there is still a lot of heat left in leavings and better to be safe than sorry .
only down side i found was some times struggle to light if these had a wick i think they would be a lot better
