"Noticed the push button was getting difficult to operate, tried greasing the linkage and cleaning the flapper but still no joy. I noticed the flapper wasnt quite sitting in the outlet 100% and was starting to go out of shape and water seeping thru to the toilet. I saw other reviews here and decided to renew it. It works like new now. Its only 4 years since I fitted the original, you'd think it would last longer than that. Screwfix price was very good at £5.09."
"As other reviews, poor design. The 4 tabs wear so the flap does not fix to the arm. I had some poly pipe-weld to hand so, with nothing to loose, glued the parts together. Job done! Super glue or similar would probably be a better glue to use. It has been ok so far."
"Lasts for years! I dont think so. Plastic part with the four prongs that attaches to the rubber valve is useless. Two prongs deformed so allowing the rubber valve to become detached. Grossly overpriced replacement part."
"Put this on a toilet that is not used too frequently, it's only lasted about 15 months which in my book isn't long enough. Top part came completely away from the skirt and couldn't be fixed. If it had been in the main bathroom I don't think it would have lasted a year."
"Bought the complete package to replace the insides of my toilet, the flapper shown here hasn't lasted that long so I now need to buy one of these. On the box it states that the unit is built to last "year after year" wish my one had!"
