"I've been using the braked rubber tyre version of these castors for a few jobs, and whilst not cheap they're very good.
I pushed a set a bit hard recently (probably just over the load rating) and they really didn't like it (cracked plastic wheel and deformed tyres). These nylon alternatives are just a bit tougher and came to the rescue.
For a larger/heavier cabinet it actually works quite well to mix a set of the nylon and rubber versions (4 nylon with a 2-4 rubber) as the fixing holes and total heights are the same. The harder nylon wheels prevent the rubber ones being overloaded, but there's still enough grip in the rubber tyres for the brakes to work.
You could just use a set of 4 of the much bigger braked nylon wheels, but sometimes it's useful to be able to run a cabinet lower (and/or gain an extra few cm of internal height)."
"Really good quality!!! (one of those things you order/buy and you know its going 1 of 2 ways you're either turning them down/sending them back or your content in the knowledge that they'll out last what they're under) no need to worry, these are the latter of those 2....."
"We have a sofa which needed to be moved frequently - these wheels were easily screwed to the bottom of the sofa's wooden frame after removing the plastic legs. The Sofa now wheels smoothly on our wooden floor."
