"I had an old rubbish devise which had been slapped in. I should have put a new one in ages ago as this was so easy and feels very tight and secure. Just cut to length and slot in. my reliability is 4 stars because I have only fitted today.
Not problems, but be aware. The bend is a sharp 90 degrees. It comes with a screw and washer for the top and a finned washer to fit in the basin. (not pictured) The washers all have a reassuringly tight fit and the finned washer is a harder plastic than before which gives a tighter fit. ."
"Flushpipe had been cut too short by installer and it was out of warranry so I had to buy one. Looked all around and screwfix were by far the cheapest. It also came with all the seals I needed. Put the ipe on which took minutes and hey presto leak fixed."
"After a failure of a previous cowboys installation, I was up against the problem of a near zero height difference between the bottom of the fluidmaster unit and the pan inlet. All the other plumbing suppliers told me that what I wanted didn't exist and that I'd have to rip it out and start again. Thanks to this pipe and Screwfix for stocking it. Everything is now wonderful in the bathroom. Who would have thought that £4.99 could make such a difference."
I have been struggling with a cowboys attempt at installing a concealed cistern and associated toilet as it has been leaking at every joint from inlet water to soil pipe. I thought that I was beaten by the flush pipe as it required a very tight bend to obtain alignment. A 'standard' pipe bend was too large. Due to a lucky bit of mis-typing I found this! It is wonderful! Why aren't longer lengths made? This one served me well - only had to cut off 10mm from each end!! Well done Fluidmaster and Screwfix for stocking it!"
"Having bought a bathroom from a diy chain, and struggled with the rubbish fittings sent with the bathroom, I bought this item and it fitted like a dream with no leaks!! I am glad the fluidmaster pipe had it's name on it!!!"
"The flush pipe was excellent quality and a competitive price - albeit only a bit of bent pipe. In practice as it was intended to replace an older pipe with a curve, instead of the right angle bend, it was found to be a different size! The extra width made it difficult to fit into the old siphon, but with a little washing up liquid it was a good close fit. I suspect it is waterproof without the gland nut provided. The end result is a really good tight fitting which will keep the bathroom floor dry."
"Bought this as the one fitted to my Armitage Shanks concealed cistern was cut slightly too short. This was easily fitted and a much tighter seal than the one that was supplied with the Armitage Shanks Cistern which was also bought last year from Screwfix"
