"One of those expensive bits of kit that turns out well worth the money. No other way to make such neat cutouts for backboxes so quickly and so accurately. I didn't find the dust a problem, there is a lot but its coarse and drops rather than flies if your drill is not set to a high speed - my 'Henry' ate the debris no problem."
"Excellent and well constructed. Makes a very fast and neat job out of what can be a very laborious task. Has been previously said that the only down side is the amount of dust produced, so you really need another pair of hands holding a good dust extractor close to the work. Other that that it has already saved me hours of work. Have marked reliability as a 4 as I have only used it on one rewire but it certainly looks built to last."
"This really is a great piece of kit especially when used in hard solid brick walls. Only down side is the dust that is generated will quickly fill an average sized bedroom. Has to be used with a dust extraction system to be of any use in a furnished house or you will spend the rest of the day cleaning up. When used with a dust extractor it is the perfect companion to a wall chaser. minimal plastering up afterward., Cannot recommend it high enough if used correctly. Expensive but built to last."
"As an enthusiastic amateur DIY'er, I don't have a skill set or knowledge base to fall back on if things go wrong. This gadget ensures that nothing goes wrong in the first place. Perfect gangbox fitting, every single time. Haven't bodged one yet. Just make sure you plan your positioning right and this thing does the rest."
"This tool saves us so much time sinking sockets and chasing down behind skirtingboards. I was skeptical as to whether it would work at all, but with a high quality SDS drill it really is the business."
"In the past i have always owned cheaper versions of this tool, but as we had broken the single sinker and i was in need of a more durable double i decided to bite the bullet and spend the extra. Its worth it ! the tool is sturdy and durable, have only used it on one rewire so far but its looking like it will last plenty of time. the carry box is handy to as its not a tool that we need all of the time so storage is convenient. Much neater than the old hammer and bolster or and angle grinder."
"Very good at sinking electrical back boxes quickly. Unfortunately the shear level of dust generated prevents this tool from being used in any customer's furnished property; the woman of the house would have you out in a jiffy. Time saved in sinking is lost during the time cleaning up the mess. Great where dust would not be a problem. A solid quality tool which requires a high quality high powered SDS+ drill."
