"Overall it covers the worktop neatly, the only downfall lack of screws for fixing that why on 3 stars for features, as chosen black it is difficult to find count sunk black screws for a neat finish. Screw should be supplied."
"Thank you Screwfix, you have saved my bacon, the other half was threatening all sorts of harm unless the worktop was finished off to her liking. The edging has completed the job. Yes you have come up trumps again, thank you."
"This end cap is great value being £5 cheaper than the one next door in B & Q. Like others have said, there are no screws and how well the rounded end fits will depend on the radius of the curve on the worktop. Be prepared that it might not be a perfect fit."
"Very good value product, sturdy enough and not flimsy. The only downside was the curve for the bullnose for the front of the worktop, it didn't exactly match the worktop - but not that anyone would notice. Fraction of the price of other end caps by other retailers."
"Normally use Unika but needed one quickly so bought thus. Ended up not fitting it.
If you buy the Unika packs they come with colour matched screws and you can choose exactly the correct profile for the worktop.
Trouble with this is it is for traditional single postformed curved top edge worktop with 10mm radius. A lot of laminate worktop now has 6mm or 3mm curved edge top and bottom so this trim needs filed down to fit, or else leaves some cut end exposed.
Another problem with this is if you fit it to a 600mm worktop, one of the pre-drilled holes is where you need to cut it. Unika ones have holes in a better position so have that problem."
