"I always used to use disposable paper masks, but when I ran out one day my after in law gave me one of these, and I'm a convert. I've never worked in such dusty environments (using angle grinders, or doing demolition) and not been able to feel it in my nose / lungs by the end of the day. I used to hate wearing a mask, but I can wear this for hours at a time with no discomfort, and berating is easy.
They last really well, I got 12 months out of my last one (but usage was maybe once a fortnight) and only had to replace it after I dropped it from 3 storeys up on a scaffold and the clips for the elastic broke off. I keep mine in the bag it came in to keep it clean, and occasionally run the Henry over the filters to clear some of the rubbish out.
Try one, you won't be disappointed is you're used to cheaper paper masks.
Because it's more permanent, I also find that always having it in my toolbox is great, with disposables I'd often not have one when I needed one."
"I usually spend my money of disposable masks but thought I'd invest in something better. And I'm so glad that I did. I wore this mask all day and it was fantastic. Very comfortable, light, and with good fields of vision, this is easily worth the extra bit of money that I paid. I am a convert, I won't go back to the cheap face masks again."
"Bought this disposable half-mask as the filters on my other mask need replacing and I can't get them locally.
I found the mask easy to adjust to fit and breathing was relatively easy. In fact the only negatives were the relative difficulty in checking the face fit/seal due to the large surface area of the filters and (perhaps more annoying) the way that condensation from your breath quickly results in the mask running with water.
Whilst I wouldn't want to wear this all the time it certainly works for shorter periods of time - in my case an hour or so of spraying cellulose paints. If you need to wear this for longer I would suggest you consider a half-mask with replaceable filters and double check the fit and comfort."
