Customer Reviews for Columbus Pneumatic Time Delay Switch
"Bought this as I'd hoped for the longest delay to switch off again Packaging says 5 mins, I timed this one to 7:48 which is excellent. Only time will tell if it stays as long as this but so far so good."
"Recently replaced one of these for a customer and actually found them cheaper at a local wholesaler. Also noticed that for this brand the surface finish of the plastic appears "potted" no doubt due to the moulding process. It functioned well though but my advice is to shop around!"
"For the price this does what it's supposed to. Setting up takes a little time but is not difficult. The first one of these I had sometimes wouldn't switch off but it was replaced without any problems and the new one has worked OK."
"I bought it despite other negative reviews. It would have been a great device had the reliability been better. Unfortunately, the switch survived only one month of relatively light use. For the money paid, I find the value very poor."
"I have used these many times being an electrician but this being the 3rd one now i'm not sure if I will use again, the unit works well for a few weeks then it seems to stick and stay on. Elkay say they have improved on this but it remains to be seen. if your able to use the electronic version do so,it may be more reliable."
"Two switches were fixed in the staircase of a student let as they left the light permanently on. One failed within a year and would not switch off even though the plunger was fully out but if the casing was touched it would then switch off. So far so good with the replacement. Motion sensors fitted on the other floors have been great. A new section should be added to University Challenge with questions such as how do you turn the heating down and what day do the bin men come?!"
"If I could give these switches no stars I would. They stick in so instead of saving electricity they cost you more.......a lot more as it is very hard to pull the button out when it sticks in the lights are permanently on. AVOID!!"

Review 12 for Columbus Pneumatic Time Delay Switch
"Cheap and nasty and grossly overpriced. Impossible to adjust - either sticks on indefinitely or pops out/switches off within a couple of seconds. I am fed up with trying to adjust it. There appears to be a dearth of well-designed, good quality reasonably-priced timeswitches on the market. Prior to this one, I bought an electronic one - this failed within a few days."
