" Bought one of these for greenhouse plant lighting so it's IP66 rating is very safe in case of moisture ingress or accidental splashes.
The front cable entry when locked down also gives a good protection if the plug cable was accidentally pulled on which is little mentioned.
The timer it's self is very good in quality and
in-put feel and seems 100% reliable and perfectly timed.
Premium price but premium quality, well worth it!
Would recommend.

" This is a very tough and well constructed outdoor box box, with an easy to use digital timer with 6 day settings.
100% reliable.
The socket is by far the best on the market, and I thouroughly recommend it after using la few cheaper brands.
As the saying goes you get what you pay for, so well done Masterseal you have cracked it. "

" I bought one for my greenhouse a couple of years ago for the heater. The timer in the first one failed after a couple of weeks and was replaced by screwfix. The second lasted a little more than a year before the timer started resetting each time it turned on. I initially thought this was because we don't have a great power supply out in the countryside - small interruptions occasionally when the wind is up - but nailed it last weekend when it started getting cold. After resetting the timer again and selecting the manual override, the timer reset. It did this a couple of times - but not every time.
I tracked this down to the load of the heater - they were getting on and drawing a little more power but still tested and ran fine drawing a little over 400W from their rated 400W. Attach a 60W light in, runs fine. "
