"I looked at various possibilities - some of which were far less expensive! With socket sets, you can't really compromise so with a 50% reduction and being made of forged steel it was really a no brainer! I definately made the right choice."
"I bought this set to use when working on my 98 toyota glanza. This socket set is great, all the sockets are solid and havent stripped a single bolt like you might get with a cheap set. The whole set feels quality and built to last.
"for £35 on "deal of the day", bargain, have used for general mech work on car engine etc, ok so far, need to wait and see if they outlast my Britool set, but havn't hammered this set to same extent yet, hence the 4 for reliability. Won't be too fussed if i loose bits, break bits, or someone takes a fancy to the set. Case fairly robust, appears slightly better than most plastic cases I've had so far. Time will tell, but well worth it for a 54 pc 12 point set. Can't comment for trade use, but for DIY good price even at £55."
"these are not bad for the money i paid, but to be honest i should have spent a little more and got bit better set, these are ideal for "the socket set in the car" i had them about 2 days of useing them and i broke the clasps on the front of the box as they are plastic , should be metal and it would be alot better, but over all great for leaving in the boot for the "just in case moment""
