"Bought this along with the diamond core kit 5pcs. Cut through the standard concrete block and brick cavity wall with easy effort. Made a nice tidy hole for the flue to sit in. Make sure you use a drill with a clutch or you run the risk of a sprained wrist or a clout on the chin if the core bit jams in the hole. Hammer action is not needed as it cuts well without and as per the instructions, it will last much longer so you get your monies worth and we all need that. It's not the cheapest, I reckon it could be a tenner cheaper but it is still cheaper than some others for the right quality. Happy drilling."

Review 2 for Erbauer Diamond Core Drill 152 x 150mm
"Bought to cut a few cooker hood vents, took it's time getting through the external house brick but no bother and went through internal block like butter. Solid construction and good value for the money compared to what you could pay. Could probably do with a little grease on the threads after use."

Review 3 for Erbauer Diamond Core Drill 152 x 150mm
"Did I end-up with a 'duffer'? I purchased this to drill through a 110 year old solid 9" red common brick wall (to install a kitchen fan). I used my SDS until the core jammed at about 50mm of cut depth - the clutch on my SDS didn't operate and I was whacked - HARD - as the SDS spun, OUCH! Seems my SDS drill clutch had failed - the moral is do not use large diameter core drills with a powerful but clutchless drill. So a new SDS from Screwfix - a Titan and excellent this drill was. However the Erbauer core bit turned out to be rubbish... given that it took almost 5 hours 'solid' effort to get through the wall using the Titan at full revs - but without the hammer use, which shouldn't be required with any diamond cutting implement. I now need to cut a 125mm hole on the same wall for a boiler flu. I'll go for the Erbauer 127mm x 150mm diamond core drill bit - as a bit of an experiment really. Here's hoping my previous experience was atypical - I'll be leaving a review on the 127mm regardless."
