Decent Work Light

"Good work light, no getting too hot, no burnt eyes when looking towards it, quite a good purchase. It is more expensive but as said no problems with it & comfortable to work with. Can't really comment on reliability yet as haven't had it long but looks robust enough!"

much bigger than you expect...

"Do not be fooled this light is much bigger than it looks in the catalogue and on line. It stands almost 6ft tall and 2 of them lit a 14ft x 30ft room in an extension we built. Very, very versatile, can be hung from the floor joists / ceiling joist or stood in the room on the built in tripod. The light it gives out is very clean and minimal heat so safe to leave on overnight etc. We used for a multitude of tasks right through the build including when we plastered, decorated and tiled.. Still proving useful now for jobs outside and on the garden when we had a party recently. Great value for money."

"I bought this to illuminate dark recesses of the house that need decorating, and was fed up with make shift solutions. I had bought this before from Tool Box, but it arrived broken and the wrong voltage. So this time, fingers crossed it would be the right voltage, and in one piece.
Well, the packaging has improved. The voltage is as requested (240v), and the only disappointment is a split plastic foot cap. So I ordered three new caps, rubber, 25mm. and presto! all is fine now.
Now on a dull day I can decorate, and not miss bits. Worth it for that."

Impossible to replace bulb

"This light works great until you have to change the tube. Getting the tube pins into their holes at the bottom of the unit is similar to threading a need from a metre away. A serious design flaw."
