Very powerful compact loppers

"Bought these as a replacement for well-worn telescopic handled ones. These have much shorter handles making them easier to use in awkward places, especially up a ladder, but the gearing action and the very sharp blade cut through 40mm branches even easier than the long handles do. And because they are not telescopic that is one less thing to go wrong. The first pair I got the blade snapped before 6 months use but I took them back to the local branch and they replaced them without a quibble, even reimbursing me the reduced price compared with the originals. This is why I reduced the Performance and Reliability to only 4 but hopefully these new ones will last me for many years."

strong loppers

"Purchased these loppers after my old faithfulls snapped. Used them for removing overgrown ivy from an empty house we was renovating. Handled the thick roots of an inch thick without much effort and with the jaw design they were usefull to nibble away at the bigger hard to reach roots. They feel robust for the price and I would recommend them for the diyer."
