"Did exactly what I needed it to. An internal vessel had gone on a boiler and had no pressure. Fitted this external one in next to no time and it sorted out the low pressure issue. Mounting it can be a little tricky and exensive, but you can find some make shift items to help with this."
"Replaced expansion tank for this remote one. Works ok. It is very reasonably priced but the cost of the mounting bracket stings a bit, for a bit of pressed steel and a jubilee clip. Still much cheaper, quicker, and easier than replacing the original like for like.Boiler back up and running in a couple of hours. Haven't rated features as it doesn't really have any or reliability, only time will tell. I would definately recommend.(Apparently I have to rate features and reliability so please ignore)"
"A good, and immediately available, replacement part that kept my central heating running. The item was value for money but did suffer from not including the mounting kit which you need to remember to buy seperately."
"I bought this vessel to replace a failed expansion vessel in an aging combi boiler of one of my customers. It performed exactly as it should at time of installation and I have no reason to think it wont continue to do so for some time. My only disappointment with this item was that it was more expensive than at some other shed / catalog retailers and didn't include a hanging bracket which had to be purchased separately. The one I purchased was grey and not intended for potable water and had a 3/4" parallel bsp male thread to couple on too. As the internal expansion vessel I was replacing was only 6 litres in capacity this 8 litre will more than cope with the expansion in the heating circuit."
"I have used these 8l vessels before and they are quite good, but they used to be the more convenient 1/2" BSPP, now they are 3/4" which as written above requires a reducer for most applications, Screwfix do not sell reducers in female."
