"Does exactly what it needs to. Extends your washing machine waste pipe with minimal fuss and no leaks. In my situation the current waste wasn't easily removed from the machine, so a male to male plastic coupler (also from screwfix) was required to join the 2 pipes. Just be aware of this if intending to use more than one pipe."
"I bought both the 1.5m and 2.5m extensions , one for the washing machine and the other for the dish washer after re- siting both machines. I also used the17mm connector with hose clips. I had no problem with any of the fittings and are working well."
"Fitted this drain hose a new waste and water supply at a customers who had not yet had the appliance delivered, so I coudn't test it, I really hope the one I purchased is not full of holes as some other reviews have claimed! time will tell.:("
"I was replacing a washing machine which had the pump on the opposite side of the machine to the original. This product is manufactured to fit directly onto the washer pump outlet. Even if the length had been suitable, the design is not suitable for my Hoover washer as the pump outlet needs a 90 degree turn. It's not really an "Extension" on its own. It would have been better if the sizes of the end fittings were clearer. I returned the product and purchased item 37103 hose connector and two Jubilee clips. to suit. Left the old hose connected to the waste on the sink and cut that back to length and fitted the connector. Saved myself a couple of quid into the bargain."
"Do not buy this hose, I'd had mine for 6 weeks when it flooded my floor because of a hole in the plastic. The hose plastic is very soft, too thin and is easily compressed by finger pressure. A new branded hose was bought from an independent shop, the new hose is of much better quality."
