"Good valve, easy to fit. No leaks when installed. Only time will tell on its reliability. The must have handle makes it so much easier to open/close. It will make turning it on and off 2-3 times a year much more convenient, and prevent it seizing up with lime-scale."
"Selected this valve after reading such positive reviews. Just before fitting I checked them over and one was faulty. Immediately replaced by local Screwfix store and both valves fitted perfectly. Apart from initial hiccup, very pleased with this valve."
"Fitted a couple of these valves in an upstairs flat, just happened to look down the bore, before connecting the second pipe, it was open yet the tap was off, no amount of turning would have shut the flow down, this all takes place on a Sunday late, so job not done. I had checked the valves for olives missing etc and turned some on and off, this one I missed, and could have been in trouble if not spotted. I had the same trouble with central heating pump isolation valves, one ok the other stuck open even when turning the tap head...Check and check again before fitting.."
"As others have mentioned the valve lever is of poor quality plastic. Installed on bath supply pipes. Was able to turn it on and off once, but after that the plastic disintegrated against the valve itself and wouldn't open. I've had to take both cold and hot water supply pipes apart to replace.
"Purchased two of these but wish I'd read the reviews first, I agree with previous reviews the handle just spun round freely on one of them which defeats the purpose of the product. Olives not seating correctly caused both valves to weep at the compression joint. Swapped both valves for standard screwdriver slot isolators purchased from my local merchants which worked perfect, waste of time money."
"Bought to use as isolation valves for feeds to shower, valves worked fine at first, but now the valve for the cold feed, the handle just turns but the valve will not open or close, due to cheap plastic in the handle."
