"A very secure mounting product, these are substantial and long bolts, no doubt whatsoever that when fitted to a brick wall the basin isn't going to fall off!!, has enough length to go through tiles or plasterboard on its way to a solid wall.
Does require a 14mm drill bit if your using the provided wall plugs, which is bigger than most standard multi packs of drill bits go up to, so I needed to buy a 1-off bit. Getting a tile drill of that size was tricky so I chanced it with the masonry bit. You will need a decent length spanner to get enough leverage to screw them all the way in as well.
"These are truly heavy duty fixings for hand basins which are designed to incorportate them. Certainly a must for all hand basins in solid walls and stud walls with the appropriate nogging! You can sit jump stand on any basin fied to a wall using these bolts. Only do not forget to have the massive 14mm drill bit for the nylon plugs. Use only the best and fish for Fischer if you do not mind the pun!!!!!"
"If you are lucky enough to be fixing a basin to a solid wall (or a solid wall behind platerboard) these are a must. They are far bigger than they look in the picture, and thus give a really sturdy result.
At this price I wouldn't consider using anything else."
"Straightforward to use and actually works well on timber studwork too (into a stud and without the rawl plugs). The best feature is the plastic grommet as it allows you to get the basin good and tight without damaging the pottery."
