"Great drill bits, great price, ordering was easy and collect was excellent ( the lad in the shop appologised cos we had to wait 4-5 minutes to be served!! I like it when they acknowledge that you have had to wait even for a few minutes) The bits cover a great range of sizes and so far have been good to use accurate and fast. A previous set bought elsewhere at higher cost kept snappping, no such problem with these."
"I bought these because I kept losing or misplacing my drill bits. They come in a sturdy case, and in a selection of sizes. Used for the first time today and they do what they are supposed to, no problems."
"Brilliant set of bits. Been using them for a while now and they are still sharp and cut without any real pressure being applied. The case they came in is great for keeping them all in one place and not in the bottom of a tool box."
"This neat set seems to be another example of Erbauer value for money. The bits are nicely finished and well-protected in a zipped and padded wallet. The hexagonal shank gives better security in a normal chuck and also allows use of an extension with a hex adaptor, if deeper holes are required. Test borings through solid timber and heavy plywood, with an elderly B & D cordless drill gave clean holes with a fast cut. Only time will tell how long the sharpness will last, so a reliability rating at this stage must be premature."
"Never expected these drill bits to be this great. Made of a very solid and strong material. After drilling lots of holes they still remain as sharpe as new. Comes in a perfectly designed carry case for long lasting protection. Also comes with a 38mm size which normally uncommon in kits like these. If u love to care for your tools then u'll love these drill bits. Truly Amazing!"
The reason I don't more stars is the ridiculous packaging Erbauer insist on using for all their bit sets. Come on Erbauer, these are drill bits, not the Crown Jewels!
That huge case with all the two-density foam inserts, and the zipper. Who on earth needs a "display case"? My other ITS brand set contains twice as many bits in a perfectly adequate wallet less than half the size!
I'm going to be bashing these through wood at 3000RPM, probably hitting nails on the way. A bit of foam isn't going to help - is it!
The best place for drill bits in in a toolbox on a job. - Now that's not likely if you insist we carry round half a crate of foamy fresh air with our drills or need leave them behind because they are too big to carry.
I really think the case needs re-thinking.
Keep it simple and spend the difference on better quality steel!"
