"Great unslotted basin waste. Good value for money and extremely easy to fit (if a dummy like me can do it!) Used small amount of sealant to ensure it was water tight and to help bed it in! Looks pro too!"
"I chose this to replace a leaky conventional type. As the old one was caked in sealant I wasn't confident of a first-time fix. I was pleased to find, that with a few turns of PTFE tape top and bottom, a watertight first-time seal was achieved. I like the design, it has no loose parts that can be broken off or lost. I have 2 teenagers. Nuff said."
"Excellent product - does what you want with a minimum of fuss and looks very nice. NB This product number is for the UNslotted version. If you want the slotted version, the product number is 64920. (They have an unhelpful description for the slotted version - i.e. "captive basin waste", instead of a helpful one - e.g. "swivel slotted basin waste", so it's not that easy to find on the web site)."
"I previously used a sprung pop up waste and had an issue with my basin not draining very quickly (plus the popup mechanism became faulty) - this swivel basin waste drains better/quicker than the popup waste did and also (as a previous reviewer commented) you dont' get as much visible limescale (which used to build up on the dome of the pop up waste)"
"Excellent if you have children, doesn't scale up in the same way as the sprung version, no chance of the plug being pulled off the chain. If you have an overflow on your then you need to select the slotted option, unlike the first reviewer who bought the wrong one and then blamed the product for not working."
"The product is useless in that you cannot remove it like a conventional plug, to clean the waste! Can't even get my little finger down there. No room. Don't people clean their sinks anymore? I should imagine this wouldn't last as long as a conventional one either. What if something gets stuck down there? I expect these are popular with those doing up nasty cheap properties to rent out. Good enough for those that can't afford to buy i suppose. Moan over. just an aside - if you are doing up a property to rent out - use good quality products as they last longer and work out cheaper and less hassle with problems in the long run. Please don't go with the mentality that tis 'good enough for them'."
