"Good design that allows the two rails to be positioned in either horizontal or vertical positions. Either way, the fixing screws are accessible and the rail was very easy to fit even in a confined space between two kitchen units."
"We are very pleased with the rail which glides smoothly and is well made. I cannot understand anyone needing instructions to fit or configure as it is hardly rocket science!! We fitted it on the underside of the worktop which makes it less obtrusive although its appearance in the other position would be quite pleasing to the eye. Well done Screwfix."
"The old rail was plastic and alu and was not rigid. Towels kept slipping off. The Hafele rail is rigid, fits in well with the brushed chromework in the kitchen, easy to use and a joy to look at. Couldn't take a photo as it fits between a cabinet side and a refrigerator very neatly."
"I purchased this towel rail because of limited space in my kitchen, and I didn't like towels draped over the radiator. It's a neat unobtrusive towel rail fitting very nicely underneath my worktop. I could have done with some instructions though. My husband had to sit and figure out how to rotate the fitting so that we could fit it. Apart from that small niggle a very good and inexpensive product - far better than those horrible plastic ones."
"Nicely engineered, I needed to fix under work top so undid the rear screw, rotated the sliding part which then engages in slots milled into the part and re-secured. The screws supplied are intended for cabinet (side) fixing so replaced them with bigger fixings which of course a work top allows. Feels much more solid than plastic versions, this is a metal construction with wheels on the slider. Only down side is the wife is insisting on one for the utility room now so I guess is out again ...."
"Bought to replace old plastic towel rail. Much stronger and far better made. Fitted under worktop fine and operates well....Only downside was screw very tight for altering hangers to side by side use (needed mole-grips to loosen and I worried thread could strip)."
"I had been looking for one of these slide-out towel rails and was pleasantly surprised to find one at Screwfix. The price was very keen, the item is well constructed and finished. The rails slide out on a block comprising three wheels so it is easy to operate and sturdy in use - unlike some flimsier plastic versions that I have seen."
"Neat towel rail that fits that odd space you may have under the worktop (put ours next to the dishwasher because after we had installed the new kitchen units we were left a gap just larger than the 600 required). Towel rail looks good, is reasonably priced and very easy to fit with the screws provided."
"A much better alternative to those made of plastic and being a neutral silver colour it will match all kitchens.
Having read a previous review for a similar product I knew that a screw on the towel rail assembly could be undone to allow this product to be fixed to the underside of a worktop - especailly useful if space is restricted.
Perhaps Screwfix could provide brief instructions with the product to point this out to unwary customers?"
"The aluminium version is described as side fixing but in fact the sliding portion is machined so that it can be rotated 90 degrees. In my own case fixing under the worktop was very easy. A very well made item that moves smoothly on three plastic wheels."
"It's a well made item for the money. Not as smooth sliding as I thought it would be. Can be a bit fiddly putting the towels on but that's probably me rushing. So far worth the money. As for someone wanting instructions?? There are four holes and four screws. Case dismissed m'laud!"
