Good, but not complete

" This unit is every bit as pleasing to the eye as the photos shown above. The controls are smooth and nicely finished. The unit looks more 'expensive' than it is. However, to save yourself some problems learn from my experiences with the installation. The unit has a hot and cold inlet, and 3 outlets (2 at the bottom and 1 at the top). The unit comes with one threaded insert with a gasket to block off one of the 2 lower outlets, if you wish to (this would be for a body jet or secondary outlet if you needed it). For me, I just needed a bath filler or a shower option so I used this to block 1 of the lower outlets with no issues. The problems for me started with the fact that this does not come with any fittings to take your 22 or 15mm inlet/outlets. There's just a threaded female port. I took the unit into my local hardware store and asked them to suggest what fittings I needed. This was a big mistake as we simply couldn't get it water-tight with the step-down, two piece assembly they sold me. 24-hrs and a good few buckets of water later, I trekked to Plumbase with the unit. They instantly recognised what I needed and said that their British threaded compression connectors, along with Loctite 55 and Plumb Blue jointing compound would do the trick. It did, and I'm very grateful. All in all, a good unit, but take the time to source the right inlet/outlet threads. "
