"Very easy to use, no pilot hole needed in any of the wood I have used so far. I used a packet building a compost bin from palettes, had to extract some and they were always ok to re-use. A good all-rounder."
"Used 25mm from edge without pilot hole in soft wood - did not split. Great grip easy to insert , seem to be quite strong - have used a full box without any issues - no cam out, no shearing all usable . will be using again and in different sizes. Time will tell if corrosion rates are good or not."
"I've been using the various sizes and types of Turbo-gold screw for years but what's been missing until now is an outdoor version of these excellent screws. Previously I've used the stainless steel version but these suffer from the same problems of softness that most stainless steel screws do and were prone to snapping or burring off. Not now! I used these on a recent fence insallation and they did a great job and if they are as rust resistant as described they'll be my outdoor screw of choice from now on!"
"I won't be buying any other screws for building deck sub frames from now on. I gave them a try and now have a permanent replacement for timberfix and decktite screws plus they're driven by a PZ3 and are self countersinking - a no brainer"
"Got through 2 boxes of the 6 x 100 size assembling a complex deck frame made up of 4 x 2 joists. Used pilot holes within 25mm of the joist end, but otherwise not really necessary. Easy start, relatively fast drive and great grip when fully driven home. Apart from the lower price, the other advantage of these screws over products of a similar size is that they have a countersunk head - coach screws, Timberlok, etc, leave a hex head exposed. The flush fit allows you to face rim joists with deck boards really easy to give a decorative finish with no hassle. Out of 200 screws, only managed to break one applying too much reverse torque when screw was in a knot - my fault, not the product."
