"This fan was bought to replace a previous unit. Dimensions are exactly as quoted and it fitted into the existing vent hole with no problems. It seems powerful in use, although not exactly quiet.
The electrical connection is located in the central section of the fan and quite deep in, so a longer cable length is needed than you might expect. Also, the wall plugs supplied are way too small for the screws."

Review 3 for Xpelair SL150P Axial Pullcord Kitchen Extractor Fan
"Firstly this extractor fan has a strong extraction rate and that is why I chose it for extracting steam from my bathroom and it does a better job than recommended fans for bathrooms which are poor. However the installation and fitting instructions are useless and you have to work out how to attach the backdraft flaps.and how the mains cable should feed through the unit. The fan is a little bit noisy but it gets rid of the steam in double quick time. It is sad to compare this fan with its predecessor which had a proper mechanical shutter and good quality parts. This is cheaply constructed plastic fan which i'm sure won't last as long. However that's progress"
