"I've been buying this Sandtex Cornish Cream masonry paint to paint the old pebbledash on my house. It's brilliant. 2 coats and it looks really good. The price was great too, as we're the helpful and friendly staff at the Rhyl branch. Definitely recommend it."
"This product does what it says on the tin having used the grey in the past and found it to give good coverage and protection ,I decided to use the cream to cover some rendering to rear walls again it provided excellent coverage and value I would always use this particular brand in the future"
"It's a brand-name product so this was a straight price comparison with other big name suppliers. Screwfix was the clear winner -- lowest price by far. Best of all, they take returns: I bought three, only needed two in the end and Screwfix gave a full refund for the unused one, no quibbling.
Great paint, it goes without saying with the Sandtex name."
"Bought this product to paint a white rough/pebble dash finished bungalow and garage. Living near the sea the original white finish was wearing and suffered from red algea growth. This was treated and then jet washed prior to painting. I calculated the area and amount of paint required but due to the rough surface, ended up using twice as much. However, this was counter-balanced by the fact that because the surface was difficult, the paint was applied heavily, resulting in a great finish using only one coat. The Cornish cream finished colour looks great"
"A brilliant product to use, covers well with two coats using a brush, used a long haired roller on large area's all on a rough render finish. the finish is more of a yellow than a cream which is what I wanted and has changed the look of our bungalow. Good purchase when bought on offer."
"This has to be the best value masonry paint at present. Sandtex is good stuff and getting it at this price is a very welcome bonus. Screwfix and Plumbfix continue to lead in good prices with brand names. I'm now a regular customer, and happy to !"
"As usual this paint is really super. It's easy to apply and covers well. Though on my rough casted walls it is a job to fill out the gaps between the stones in the first layer so a masonry brush works best for me. When the wall has dried up you can actually see how well the paint repels the scottish rain."
"2 coats over a pva sealing coat have covered well in most cases. One wall has needed a third coat but that might be down to the render rather than the paint. Overall its good, but will it last years?"
"Excellent product, bought on special offer so got 30 ltr for price of 15. Even at full price I will buy again. Excellent coverage, used to paint a breeze block wall and went on very well even though the wall had not been painted previously, only a few areas needed a further touch up coat once dry.
"Over a new concrete render with a sealing wash of pva, we wondered if the second coat would be enough to give us a good solid colour. We needn't have worried, its a strong solid cream. Totally recommended."
