Never been happy with it

"I have been using one of these drills for the last few years. I went with Makita because they seemed to be the industry standard in my game. I have other Makita cordless tools that I think are brilliant but this drill has always been a disapointment. The chuck is rubbish. The plastic is moulded in such a way that it is difficult to grip. It slips in the hand and burns your palm, most of the time it hasn't tightened up properly so the bit slips when drilling. The metal chucked version isn't much better. Also the motor in it isn't great. I used a mate's new 14v Li-on Dewalt for all of 20 seconds and it was much more impressive than this has ever been. The thing is, all my gear is Makita now so i'm sort of stuck with it unless I want to carry two sets of chargers and batteries."
