"I hope that potential purchasers of the Flo-Fit line will view some of these negative statements about this alternate to the JG line with a degree of healthy scepticism. The reality is as follows: 1. Floplast would not permit a faulty product to destroy their excellent reputation in the market. 2. Screwfix likewise. 3. The Flo-Fit product is WRAS approved and it is therefore inconceivable that this product is not operating correctly. It is exhaustively tested by WRAS, and the manufacturing company has a first class QC facility. 4. The JG line of fittings are superb, the only issue is one of size. 5. The Flo-Fit alternative is purely a slimmer version of similar technology."

Review 2 for FloPlast Flo-Fit Straight Couplers 22mm Pack of 5
"I bought a selection of these - straight couplings and elbows by mistake (wanted speedfit) and every one leaked when connecting to copper - seemed OK when using plastic with the inserts. The copper pipe has to be perfectly round & clean - not always possible in confined spaces. Used Speedfit in the same places - no leaks at all.
Its not always practical to leave floors up & holes in walls to see if they do leak - fortunately I was able to and was glad I did when I discovered the leaks!! Unfortunately, I can't recommend these - spend the extra & get speedfit. All unopened ones returned!"

Review 4 for FloPlast Flo-Fit Straight Couplers 22mm Pack of 5
"I used these 22mm couplings when JG's fittings were unavailale.
They would be good value and a good product, but. all four of the ones I used to couple new 22mm copper tube on a central heating system weep whereas the equivalent JG fittings used on the same system are all fine. Two 22mm 90 degree couplings of the same make and pattern also leak.
To be fair, I have used the 15mm fittings made by this manufacturer extensively but so far without trouble."
